If your device is slow or experiencing storage issues, start the troubleshooting process by clearing the cache. It is easy and highly effective.
Clearing the cache on your Android TV/onn device is one of the best ways to keep it running trouble-free. If you keep clearing the cache regularly, you will be surprised to see how much better your device performs. (screenshots are from an Android tv. Onn device instructions are the same.)
Choose Settings on the home screen of your Android TV/onn device (located in the menu bar on the top).
Open Applications.
Scroll down and open Manage Installed Applications.
Select the app whose cache you want to clear. When you do that, the cache size appears on the right.
On the following window, click Clear cache
Note: Clicking Clear Data will also clear the cache. However, it will also reset the app and remove any data, including login data, settings, etc. DO NOT choose this option unless you are intending to do this.
Refreshing the EPG is the easiest way to solve any issues you might have with your tv guide.
From the TV King home screen select Settings (gear icon) from the left side menu. Once you’re inside select EPG.
Select EPG Sources then click Refresh EPG.
The onn box comes with limited storage space. If you install too many apps that you don’t need or don’t use, you may run out of space for apps you really want. Follow these instructions on how to remove unwanted apps on Android tv/onn device.
Select the settings gear on the right side of your screen.
Click Applications.
Scroll down and open Manage Installed Applications.
You’ll see all the applications that are currently installed on your Android TV or onn device. Scroll down to the app you want to delete and select uninstall.
